GrIFK was one of 20 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Atlas Cup 2023. They participated with four teams in D-Pojat 12, C-Pojat 09 and D-tytöt 12 respectively. Three teams played until Loppuottelu in Playoff A; D-tytöt 12 Grön won over Atlas by 13-12, D-tytöt 12 Vit won over Dicken by 10-7 or C-Pojat 09 won over Atlas 1 by 16-12.
In addition to this, GrIFK have participated in Atlas Cup before. During Atlas Cup 2022, GrIFK had one team playing in E-Tytöt 12. The team in E-Tytöt 12 made it to the the in Group play, but lost it against BK-46 by 12-14. GrIFK comes from Kauniainen which lies approximately 8 km from Vantaa, where Atlas Cup takes place. The area around Kauniainen does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Atlas Cup 2023 (Among others: Atlas, Dicken, KyIF, Dicken rf, HIFK, Grankulla IFK, Kyrkslätt IF, Sjundeå IF, Sparta IF or Atlas 2). 17 games playedGoals |
