Sparta IF was one of 21 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Atlas Cup 2019. The team in E-boys 09 made it to the the in Group playand won it over Atlas by 20-12.
In addition to this, Sparta IF have participated in Atlas Cup before. During Atlas Cup 2018, Sparta had two teams playing in C-girls 04-05 and B-girls 03-02 respectively. The team in B-girls 03-02 made it to the the 3-4 in Playoff A, but lost it against GrIFK by 6-12. Sparta comes from Helsinki which lies approximately 5 km from Vantaa, where Atlas Cup takes place.
